Health Connect is exclusive to Android and Google Play. You can access Health Connect in two ways:
- As an app on the Google Play Store
- As an Android system app on certain Pixel devices
Here you will find a list of all apps that are compatible with Health Connect. If your tracker is not on the list, there is still a high probability that your steps can be measured: simply connect your tracker to Google Fit and then connect Google Fit to Health Connect.
How to connect your tracker app to Health Connect:
- On your device, open the Health Connect app .
- Tap App permissions.
- Turn on apps that you want to sync with Health Connect.
- Select data permissions that you want to share.
- Tap Allow.
Tips for ensuring correct data synchronisation via Health Connect:
1. Check the authorisations of the connected app
Make sure that the app has the necessary permissions to read or write data from Health Connect.
2. Check whether the app has requested the authorisations
It may be that the specific data type is not yet supported by the app.
3. Restart the synchronisation
If synchronisation has not started correctly, go to the app settings and deactivate the permissions and then reactivate them. If you have any further problems, contact the support team for the relevant app.
4. Patience during the update:
The data in the Mufaroo app is not updated in real time, but with each update of Health Connect. However, everything is synchronised during the course of the day.
